Sue's Policies, Terms and Conditions for Students
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson you must give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. If you can’t give 48 hours’ notice then 100% of the fee for the lesson is liable. This also applies if you need to reduce the time of a lesson. If you cannot give 48 hours’ notice you will be charged for the original length of the time slot you booked.
Intensive crash courses that have been booked need to have a minimum of 10 days’ notice given.
Driving Lesson Terms and Conditions
Every student needs to make a deposit of the price of a. The deposit will be used as payment if you do not give the minimum 48 hours’ notice before cancelling or rearranging a lesson. If you do not use the deposit during the course of your lessons then it will pay for a lesson just before your test and the use of my car during the test itself. Alternatively it can be refunded to you if you prefer.
Payments
To secure a specific time and day in my diary for your lesson you will need to pre-pay. If you reserve a time for a lesson and have not pre-paid then a student who has pre-paid will be given your time slot if they want it. To keep timings and continuity for your lessons it is important that you pre-pay. Please prepay at least 48 hours in advance of your lesson.
Preparation
I need all cancellations, rearrangements of lessons, test dates and other alterations to my time communicated as soon as you possibly can so please make sure you have my mobile number saved on your phone and that you ring me immediately.
You will need to bring your photo card driving licence with you for your theory test. For your practical driving test you will need to have your photo card driving licence and your theory pass certificate. Don’t forget them!
You must already have a provisional driving licence to book lessons with me.
Assessment
If you want to book on a course or have a course tailor made for your needs then I will need to assess your capabilities before I can recommend something suitable.
