Fantastic result for Christine Haywood, who has just passed her driving test today, 19th October 2020, at Upton. Well done Chrissy! She was really nervous this morning, and was convinced that she wouldn’t get through it – but I always knew she definitely could. She had to wipe the mascara from her eyes before the pass photo could be taken, she were so emotional, and it was lovely to see the smile on her face as she took her mask off.
I’m so glad that Christine persevered with her lessons, which isn’t always easy to do when you have gone through the disappointment of a few unsuccessful driving test attempts, as well as having to do the theory test for a second time. It knocks your confidence, but trying to keep positive and believing in your own ability really does work.
I know what a huge difference it will now make to Chrissy’s daily life. I don’t know how she’s managed with 5 children, not being able to drive! No more carrying heavy shopping, or a long walk in the cold and rain to start work at 6.30am like she did this morning just before her test! I asked her where she plans to drive to for her first solo drive, and she said Chester Zoo.
Passing your driving test was one of the 3 things on your wish list, Chrissy, so you can tick that off now. I’m sure you’ll also achieve the other things too! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and wish you many years of happy days out and safe driving. xxx
