STAR PUPIL ALERT Today, 12th August 2022, Evie Yilmaz has only gone and passed her driving test with ZERO driving faults!
What an achievement that is Evie! You are now at the top of my leader board! It’s getting like Top Gear’s star in a reasonably priced car competition!
You even had the added pressure today of having 2 examiners in the car, and soaring temperatures of 29 degrees (Thankfully the aircon kept things a bit cooler).
You said this is the best ever day, and also the best 18th birthday present you could have given yourself, as we are just 2 days away from your 18th birthday on Saturday.
We were even filmed by Google maps street camera car on your pre-test lesson, then again afterwards, when we hope they captured you waving your pass certificate at the camera! I’ll be checking Google earth for those 2 locations to see if they captured the before and after moment!
It was lovely to see your dad’s reaction when we arrived home, and it was impossible for either of us to pretend you hadn’t passed. As I drove away, I saw lots of your neighbours giving you the thumbs up too!
