Massive congratulations to Caitlin Morris who passed her test this afternoon, 20th May 2020, in Wallasey.
Thank you for inviting me to sit in today. It’s always interesting to see how you drive on your real test. I was extremely impressed by the emergency stop you did in New Brighton. I’m so glad that seat belts are compulsory! You certainly couldn’t have stopped the car any quicker once the examiner gave you the instruction to stop. Fantastic reaction time. Well done!
I got the impression you weren’t too nervous today. I think the fact that I had to pick you up from the hairdressers in the middle of your appointment with conditioner on your hair, then drop you back there after your test was an indication that a driving test wouldn’t phase your day today! You do make me laugh!
The extra practice you’ve been having with your granddad has been a great help over the past month – so I’m sure he will be as thrilled for you as the rest of your family.
I deliberately didn’t post your pass photo until later today, as I know you wanted to surprise your mum. You were planning to pretend you didn’t pass, but I bet she sussed you out!
I know you’re hoping to get your own car very soon, which will make life so much easier for you, especially with all the different places you need to travel to for work.
Make sure you send me a photo of your new car so I can look out for you on the roads. I’ve really enjoyed your company on lessons, and wish you all the best for the future.
