Ethan Marnell has just done a perfect drive, and passed his test on his FIRST ATTEMPT, with zero driving faults, and compliments from his examiner!

When I picked you up the morning of November 25, 2024, and asked how you were you told me you’d had the week from hell! Your driving test should have been last November 18, 2024, and you’d arranged time off work, only to receive an email on November 18, 2024 morning from DVSA to say your test had been cancelled, and moved to 8.47am Christmas week! Then your pipes burst and brought the ceiling down and the day after that you dropped something really heavy on your toe, which is now all bandaged up, causing you to hobble to this last-minute cancellation test we managed to find!

I told you things could only get better!

You had a difficult parallel park to do as there was a pile of autumn leaves making the curb very difficult to judge but I knew you’d still manage it ok!

I’m looking forward to seeing your first-ever car, so don’t forget to send me a photo when you get it. I’m also looking forward to spending a full day next spring doing a long road trip for Pass Plus.

I’ll miss our lessons, as you’ve always been great company. Enjoy your celebrations, you really deserve it!
