22March 2023
It’s a very happy St Patrick ’s Day for Lauren Pugh, who passed her driving test this morning, 17th March 2023.
Congratulations! I am over the moon for you!
You were so nervous when we were sitting in the waiting room at the test centre, as the pressure was really on for you to pass today.
You should have been taking your test 2 weeks ago, but received a last minute email from DVSA just 15 hours beforehand, saying it had been cancelled.
To make matters worse, they gave you a rescheduled test date which was after I was getting rid of my manual car!
It’s been a frantic time looking for absolutely any cancellation tests we could get before next week, and I know you’ve had to juggle hours at work to fit around DVSA.
We’ve also had to find dates which don’t clash with examiner strikes, not to mention heavy snow.
To see the tears of relief as you were told your result got me choked up too! I’ll certainly miss our lessons and all of our little chats.
You have always been brilliant company, as has your best friend Olivia Quinn, who passed her test in the same car!
When I asked you, “What’s the best thing about passing your test?” you gave the loveliest answer:
“It now means I can take my grandad for days out as no one else in our family drives.”
I know that as soon as you’ve shared the good news with your mum and dad, you are going round to your grandad’s .How lovely is that?
