Massive congratulations to Luke Scarratt who has just passed his test, 2nd October 2021, at Upton, with only 5 small driving faults and compliments from his examiner on an excellent drive today! Well done Luke!
I know how much this means to you, and I can’t tell you how happy I am to see that massive smile! How exciting that you can start looking for your own car today, and hopefully it won’t be too long before you get the delivery job you are hoping for.
It’s perfect timing for that with Christmas approaching, and the world so short of drivers right now. Like you said just now, there is such a shortage of lorry drivers, that today may actually be your first step to thinking of that career in the future, once you’ve had the essential time and experience of driving your own car.
There are so many exciting things to look forward to in your life right now! I’ll never forget that lesson we had a few weeks ago, when we experienced the heaviest rain and flooded roads that I’ve ever experienced in 36 years of driving!
I did wonder at one point, if either of us would be able to drive home, or just leave the car on the hill, and paddle or canoe back instead! But we survived! And now you know what to do, and what not to do in adverse weather conditions!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every lesson with you, and wish you all the best for the future in whatever you do. Don’t forget to send me a photo of your new car! Xxx
